Hand tools are very essential things in our daily life. We use it for our gardening purpose and others purposes. For a civil engineer, hand tools functioned as a tool to help person who worked as a civil engineer in finishing their job both in the workplace or in the workshop.

A hand tool is any tool that is powered by hand rather than a motor. Categories of hand tools include wrenches, pliers, cutters, files, striking tools, struck or hammered tools, screwdrivers, vises, clamps, snips, saws, drills and knives.

A power tool is a tool that is actuated by an additional power source and mechanism other than the solely manual labor used with hand tools. The most common types of power tools use electric motors.

That is the reason why an engineer should understand about safety, both in workshop and in workplace. To keep an engineer safe in work, they should learn and understand about safety equipment and precautions. In this case, we will learn about standard safety precautions. Safety precautions must be strictly adhered to because if they are not, some employees can put other employees at risk.

SHARING TENTANG LATSAR CPNS KEMRISTEKDIKTI 2019 GOLONGAN 3 (RANCANGAN AKTUALISASI DAN LAPORAN AKTUALISASI)

Hallo guys :)

Apa kabar kalian? Kali ini saya akan membagikan sedikit pengalaman selama Pelatihan Dasar (LATSAR) Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil di lingkungan Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemristekdikti). Berbicara mengenai latsar ini, sebenarnya banyak kisah, baik yang manis dan terkesan pahit yah. Namun begitu, untuk sampai ke titik PNS 100%, sebagai CPNS harus melewati tahapan ini. Latsar di tempat kami sendiri berlangsung selama kurang lebih 51 hari mulai dari tanggal 19 Agustus – 16 Oktober 2019 bertempat di Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Provinsi Maluku, Ambon.

Sebagai Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN), Pegawai Negeri Sipil memiliki peran sebagai perencana, pelaksana, dan pengawas penyelenggaraan tugas umum pemerintahan dan pembangunan nasional melalui pelaksanaan kebijakan dan pelayanan publik yang profesional, bebas dari intervensi politik, serta bersih dari praktik korupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme. Jadi sebagai PNS, jangan sampai kita terjebak dan memakai “almamater orange” itu yahh. Selain itu, untuk membentuk Pegawai Negeri Sipil yang baik, maka pemerintah menetapkan Undang-Undang No.5 Tahun 2014 tentang Aparatur Sipil Negara, serta Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 53 Tahun 2010 tentang Disiplin PNS. Karena PNS memegang peranan yang sangat besar dalam kelancaran pemerintahan serta pembangunan maka dalam hal ini kedudukan pegawai negeri menjadi sangat penting, sebab lancar atau tidak lancarnya pemerintah dan pembangunan negara tidak terlepas dari peranan dan keikutsertaan pegawai negeri.

Pelatihan Dasar CPNS Golongan III Angkatan V (mendapat julukan sebagai Laskar Siwalima) Kemristekdikti juga bergabung dengan KPU. Latsar kami terbagi jadi 3 bagian yaitu: On Campus (Rancangan Aktualisasi), Off Campus / Masa Habituasi (Berlangsung di Unit kerja masing-masing dan On Campus (Laporan Aktualisasi). 

Didalam mengikuti agenda Diklat Latsar CPNS, karakter sebagai PNS dan wawasan kebangsaan kita akan dibentuk melalui beberapa agenda pelatihan yaitu; Kurikulum Pembentukan Karakter PNS, Agenda Sikap Perilaku Bela Negara, Agenda Nilai-Nilai PNS, Agenda Kedudukan dan Peran PNS dalam NKRI, dan Agenda Habituasi. Bagi saya pribadi, yang paling membekas dalam pelatihan dasar ini adalah saat mendapatkan pelatihan mengenai nilai-nilai ANEKA? Apa itu ANEKA? Ya, itu adalah singkatan dari Akuntabilitas, Nasionalisme, Etika Publik, Komitmen Mutu, Dan Anti Korupsi. Maka dari itu, dalam rangka penguatan kompetensi ANEKA, CPNS harus melalui pelatihan dasar untuk mencapai tahap ASN sepenuhnya.

Sedikit pengalaman mengenai latsar kami, yang hampir sama seperti masa pengkaderan waktu jaman-jaman S1 dulu.. hehee.. Kenapa? Soalnya karakter dan kedisiplinan menjadi nilai yang sangat berharga. Waktu makan diatur, waktu istirahat diatur dan waktu apapun diatur. Bahkan, kami sempat loh direndam dikolam lumpur oleh bapak-bapak TNI sebagai bentuk “simulasi” kesiapsiagaan dan kewaspadaan. Waktu istirahat sirine berbunyi, kami berlari bahkan saya tidak sempat memakai sepatu. Pokoknya betul-betul melatih watak kita deh. Bagi yang belum mengikuti latasar, kalian akan tahu semua nanti, I promise.

Ohh ya, selama masa habituasi / off campus, di Ambon diguncang gempa dengan kekuatan 6.8 SR. So sad, kejadian ini bahkan sampai menelan korban jiwa. Dengan adanya bencana ini, kami yang melaksanakan proses habituasi di unit kerja masing-masing menjadi trauma, khususnya saya yang baru beberapa bulan tinggal disini. Proses aktualisasi menjadi sedikit terhambat, namun mau tidak mau program tetap berjalan.
